Volunteers
Our volunteers play a significant and essential role in our Safe Church community. As such, we require every volunteer to undergo a simple screening process, attend an in-service training day on a quarterly basis and commit to our volunteer guidelines.
To volunteer in any area across Central Life Church the following are essential:
- A current Working with Children Check (WWCC) ( See https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/transaction/apply-for-a-working-with-children-check)
- Complete a Screening Questionnaire (for over 18 and under 18 year olds) and provide 2-character references
- Attend a volunteer in-service day on a quarterly basis
- Complete essential safe spaces training – National Priniciples for Child Safe Organisations
- Agree with and sign the Central Life Church Volunteer Agreement
Further information regarding the above is provided when a potential volunteer expresses interest in joining one of our volunteer teams.
